A pregnancy is a particularly demanding time for all concerned, in which both the body and the soul are heavily used. It is therefore very important to take some time off, to think of yourself and create islands of peace and relaxation. Because the more balanced and happy the mother is, the better the child feels.
Pregnant massage combines parts of different massage techniques (oil massage, anti-stress massage etc.) in a way which are suitable for mother and baby.
This treatment technique requires at least 1 hour. Individualized treatment can take up to two hours.
Your Advantages are:
- Relief of tension and back pain
- Prenatal back massages help to counteract edema and swelling
- Prenatal back massages help prevent muscle spasms and myofascial pain
- leads to proven lower level of disstress
- In deep relaxation, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated so that the internal organs are increasingly supplied with blood and the metabolism is positively stimulated.
- Mindful touch can trigger physical well-being and can lead to a feeling of comfort.
Contra indications for a pregnant massage are:
There are a number of symptoms, some of which are harmless, but especially in combination with each other, a massage can cause problems, what is not advisable. If the following symptoms occur during pregnancy, this does not necessarily mean that you have to desist from a massage. But for savety reason we advise you to ask your doctor for his opinion.
- Abdominal pains
- Communicable diseases
- Fever
- Increased vaginal secretion
- Unusual pain
- Vomitting
Do not forget the time after the pregnancy
After successful birth the children’s stress really starts. Now mothers should not forget to take a massage from time to time. Small children, who want to be carried and like to play with (and on) the mother are almost as burdening for the body as the pregnancy itself.
